PAHAR is built on contributions from researchers, field workers, writers, ecologists, historians, and anyone with knowledge of the Himalayan region.

What We Accept

• Research articles — peer-reviewed or working papers on any Himalayan topic
• Field notes — documented observations, expedition accounts, site records
• Oral histories — transcribed or recorded narratives from Himalayan communities
• Photographs and maps — high-resolution, original, rights-cleared imagery
• Book manuscripts — monographs, edited volumes, field manuals, booklets
• Data and reports — ecological surveys, census data, policy documents

All submissions should be original work. PAHAR is a non-commercial archive; contributors retain rights to their work. Please write to us with a brief description before submitting the full work.
